Das Tempo ist alles andere als stabil, aber das tut dem Groove erstaunlicherweise keinen Abbruch … und Donald Bailey ist zwar kaum bekannt, war aber ein super Drummer und obendrein ein ziemlich besonderer Typ – mir hat diesbezüglich Ethan Iverson mal wieder die Ohren geöffnet bzw. das Hören geschärft, denn gemocht hatte ich Bailey da schon lang:
