Mainstream-Rock ist „Discipline“ sicher nicht ( bzw. wenn ja, dann sind auch „Schizoid man“ und „I talk to the wind“ Mainstream-Rock)… und die rhythmischen Muster von „Discipline“ sind gar nicht so weit von „Lark’s tongue in aspic“ weg imho… natürlich war Fripp um diese Zeit mehr in Richtung New Wave unterwegs (siehe auch seine Zusammenarbeiten mit David Bowie), aber für mich geht das schon noch unter Progressive durch … halt mehr in Richtung Mahavishnu Orchestra als in Richtung ELP
