Etwas war da immer, wenn ich den Namen „Rolling Stones“ gehört habe. Etwas, das mich gestört hat. Allerdings bin ich nie drauf gekommen, was dieses etwas denn nun sein könnte. Bis gestern, als ich zufällig im Review eines Freundes von Exile on Main Street folgende Zeilen las:
„Maybe it’s because every fan of the Stones (and this album in particular) I’ve met has been a complete fucking nut, but I just cannot for the life of me conjure up any inspiration to actually play the damn thing.“
Genau! Das ist es! Jetzt weiß ich warum sie mir nie ganz geheuer waren. Da hätte ich wirklich selbst drauf kommen können…
