Im Ernst: bei mir ist das im Ranking der Monk’schen Riverside-Alben nach wie vor eher abgeschlagen. Dahinter kommen wohl nur noch „In Italy“, das Album mit Mulligan und „The Unique“, auf gleicher Höhe (das heisst übrigens immer noch vier Sterne, auch hier …) wohl ungefähr der Blackhawk-Mitschnitt und „Thelonious Himself“, alle anderen mag ich lieber.
