clauDanke für die Review, j.w., ich bin bei San José auf jeden Fall dabei. Leute, mich würde mal interessieren, welches eure liebsten als DVD oder Blu Ray erhältlichen Konzerte/Konzertfilme der Stones sind. Wie seht ihr das z. B. mit der Tour 81/82: Hampton, Leeds oder der alte Konzertfilm „Let’s Spend The Night Together“ (in D „Rocks Off“)? Oder 89/90: Tokyo Dome oder „At The Max“?

Ich musste darüber nachdenken, aber eigentlich ist die Antwort für mich klar: Die Spitze des Eisbergs (a fuckin‘ massive one!) sind die DVDs aus der Totally Stripped-Box, die es immer noch für absolute Schnäppchenpreise gibt. Totally Stripped ist als Tonträger relativ unspektakulär – die Doppel-LP steht hier immer noch verschweißt, aber die drei Clubkonzerte auf DVD sind einfach grandios und das Destillat, das ich mir seinerzeit daraus erstellt habe (hatte ich auch gepostet hier), ist nach wie vor meine liebste Live-Compilation. Wer an meiner auf Audiotracks gezogene und zusammengemischte Compilation Lust hat, möge sich bei mir per PN melden.
