well… eher ella-material. aber die version ist sehr schön, hatte ich nicht mehr so im ohr. mein favorit ist ja „you are too beautiful“, aber das gibt es endgültig keinen coolness-filter mehr…

Der Song? Oder (andere) beste Songs? Jazzsongs sind ja ziemlich selten, zumal aus der Zeit. „Strange Fruit“ kam mir vorhin grad noch in den Sinn … fast alles andere waren ja Pop-Songs (Holiday hat noch ein paar Sachen mehr am Start, die ebenfalls grossartigen „Don’t Explain“ und „God Bless the Child“ etwa).
