I just wanted to say Danke to everyone here for all of your help over the last few months, and a special shout out THANKS to Martin Beck. I forgot who did it, but a link was posted up that had many of the old issues of Spex, and the magazine listed the tour dates from back in the 1980’s. By going through them, I was able to validate every concert date and the all the German tours. The only one I was unable to find a listing for was the concert in Hamburg at Trinity in 1983, but I have seen a ticket stub from the concert and reviews from it. Mr. Start, I’ve found out about another gig in Frankfurt! ;)
From my research, which I used other sources besides Spex, I was able to uncover 2 previously unknown German concerts and find out the venues for 4 concerts that were known but their venues unknown. A bit of trivia: The Style Council played England the most, then Italy and then German and Japan (tied) for third most.
I have one last request for help. I am still trying to find out the date and venue for a concert that allegedly took place in October or November 1984 in Innsbruck, Austria. Does anyone know of a similar magazine to Spex, Rolling Stone, etc. for Austria back in 1984 or a German magazine that also published concert dates for Austria? I believe that they (The Style Council) played at Hafen, but numerous emails to the venue, the production company (who also owns the venue) and even a promoter who has done many Paul Weller tours in Austria have gone unanswered. :( I don’t know where to turn for help anymore on this.

*ANY* thoughts, help or ideas to figure out The Style Council’s Innsbruck concert for 1984 would be greatly appreciated!
