‘Bamboula’Wikipedia sagt dazu:
A bamboula is a kind of drum made from a section of giant bamboo with skin stretched over the ends.[1] It is also a dance accompanied by the drums. Both were brought to the Americas (notably New Orleans, Mobile, Alabama, and the Virgin Islands) by African slaves.[2][3][4]

Rory and the Hurricanes mit Ringo:
Über Rory:
„Rory was a performer,“ his sister Iris Caldwell said. „He wasn’t, like The Beatles, a brilliant songwriter. They called him The Golden Boy and Mr Showbusiness.
„Rory was so far ahead of his time. He was doing glam rock then.“ Rod Stewart is among the artists thought to have been influenced by Storm’s style, she said.

He also talked about his new album, “Postcards From Paradise,” which will be released March 31 and he said he’d been working on all last year. “I do it at home. I do basic tracks and then I invite writers to come and join me and we write songs. From Van Dyke Parks to Richard Marks,” he said. “I just have fun. I love hanging out with musicians. We have the excuse that we’re writing a song and then we play.”

You can share your pics via Twitter and Instagram by using the hashtag #RingoPostcardsContest. Don’t wait too long, though — the photos must submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, February 9. For more details, visit RingoPostcards.com.
