Und schon wieder die Aida, die erste der drei Callas-Aufnahmen, die ich vorliegen habe – zum ersten Mal im Player und ich bin schon von Del Monaco zu Beginn ziemlich beeindruckt!
Ja, die Aufnahme mag ich auch gerne. Welches ist neben der Studio-Aufnahme die Dritte?

Von vorne … das heisst erstmal fast vier CDs mit Orchestermusik von Debussy, aufgenommen zwischen 1951 und 1964. Alles neu für mich, aber momentan leider nur Hintergrundmusik.

Von vorne … das heisst erstmal fast vier CDs mit Orchestermusik von Debussy, aufgenommen zwischen 1951 und 1964. Alles neu für mich, aber momentan leider nur Hintergrundmusik.
Was für ein Cover :liebe: :liebe: – Box liegt bei mir noch unberührt im „Abhörraum“…..

"Kunst ist schön, macht aber viel Arbeit" (K. Valentin)Bin wieder bei Debussy/Ansermet, von vorne, gestern war irgendwie nicht der passende Zeitpunkt. Das Orchester klingt da und dort schon etwas ruppig, aber das Ergebnis ist sehr lebendige Musik auch mit einem rhythmischen Momentum, das mir sonst bei Debussy oft etwas zu fehlen scheint (wobei ich bisher fast nur Klaviermusik kenne und diese am liebsten mit Marcelle Meyer höre … wohl gerade, weil ich bei ihr fast eine Art Ragtime-Drive höre).

Ernest AnsermetMal sehen, ob ich das Martyrium auslasse oder nicht … auf CDs 5-8 folgen dann Ansermets beiden Einspielungen von Pelléas et Mélisande, die lasse ich ganz gewiss weg heute. CDs 9-13 gehören dann Ravel (inkl. L’Enfant et les sortilèges, L’Heure espagnole, die Klavierkonzerte mit Jacqueline Blancard etc).
