Ich hatte das Glück, bei allen vier heute genannten Gigs dabei gewesen zu sein. München 2022 war richtig toll (allein das Gestolpere bei „Connection“ war das Geld wert), Paris fand ich herausragend (ein sensationeller „Midnight Rambler“), Gelsenkirchen war wirklich gut und Berlin vom feinsten (vier songs von „Exile“, außerdem „Fool To Cry“).

Als ich in München „Rocks Off“ erkannte war es schon vorbei. Winschief aber geil.

Ja, stimmt, das war toll. „Out Of Time“ natürlich auch. Highlight war für mich das von Keith großartig gesungene „Slipping Away“

Laut Branchenblatt The Sun soll Keith Veto eingelegt haben:

An American music critic said Keith Richards, who turns 82 on Thursday, told his bandmates Mick Jagger, 82, and Ronnie Wood, 78, he couldn’t commit to the trek at this time.

They added: “The Rolling Stones had all the big promoters throwing loads of ideas and dates at them for next summer.

“But when they properly sat down to discuss the tour, Keith said he didn’t think he could commit and wasn’t keen on a big stadium tour for over four months.”

Bin aber ebenfalls Team Abwarten. Sollte es das allerdings wirklich gewesen sein, so hätte ich mir kein besseres letztes Konzert als 2022 in der Waldbühne wünschen können.
