Suede planen ein Greatest Hits-Abum. Darauf soll auch der Song „Love The Way You Love“ enthalten sein, welcher als nächste Single der Band vorgesehen ist. Neues Material ist ebenfalls in der Mache. Zur Zeit schrauben Suede an den ersten Demos ihres „A New Morning“-Nachfolgers. Brandheiße Details gab Sänger Brett Anderson im Chat mit Fans auf der offiziellen Suede-Homepage bekannt: „Most of the new material is more aggressive and less song based than ANM. We’re spending a lot of time working on tracks that sound nothing like traditional Suede. There’s a kind of electronic reggae thing called attitude, an insane metallic robot march called golden gun and a punky thrash called i don’t need a high. I needed to write something as soulful as ANM at the time but now that’s out of my system and it’s time to release the beast.“
Und als wäre das nicht schon genug für dieses Jahr, haben die Briten auch noch eine Biografie in petto. Anderson über Autor David Barnett: „He is a good writer. He’s had intimate and personal access to the band and is privy to the kind of secrets that will blow people’s minds. I have spilled my guts for this bio so the last thing I want is some nice, neat piece of PR bullshit“.

Das klingt irgendwie nach Viva-Bams oder so.

Die Band mochte ich eigentlich mal ganz gerne, habe sie aber nach Coming Up total aus den Augen verloren.

important announcement from the band

suede would like to announce that from next year they will be working on their own individual projects.there will not be a new studio album until the band feel that the moment is artistically right to make one.this announcement does not affect the forthcoming touring commitments. suede would like to thank the fans for their wonderful support over the years.
