Hab von Adams jetzt alle Alben ausser Rock n`roll. Ist die zu empfehlen?Braucht es die auch noch?
Unbedingt braucht man R&R sicherlich nicht aber es ist auch kein Drama es zu besitzen. Vier gute Songs sind ja immerhin drauf.

anyhow, we are posting some pictures from the hospital on the .com site today. johnny t took some movies on his digital camera and some reg. pics. it was gross. really horrible.
my hand is not attached to my body at the wrist anymore. i saw a specialist in the u.k. i may lose 20% mobility in my wrist and may suffer chronic arthritis for the rest of my life in my hand.
i am home in nyc and i go in for more x-rays tomorrow. they have to decide if they are going to wire it together with rods or not. its very sad and i am worried.
contrary to popular opinion i was having the greatest time on tour. i might seem maudlin at gigs but thats probably because im putting my feelings into the songs and theyre not really happy tunes the lot of them are they?
anyway i hate interviews and i am certainly dark when i have to do them because i just feel more exposed.the xfm thing was like it was because the dj refused to even meet anyone. he didnt even say hello and he called some people in our crew „wankers“ and something about we were “ fucking yanks“.
they were so fucking rude. we couldnt do a full band thing because they put the drums in another room and we couldnt see johnny at all or hear him and we were supposed to play electric guitars but they had no place for amps.
it was a mess.so i went out for a cigarette (i.e. stormed out) and talked to my tour manager and said, „well lets at least give them some new song like an exclusive song so as to not punish the fans.“
i played that song and they were acting like we did something wrong. they said „people way more famous than you come in here and do this all the time.“
and i was like „what?“ what does that have to do with anything.i had the best time in bristol and cambridge and liverpool was so great. that was a highlight show i thought but that orchestra pit was really dark and i was watching out but when i looked up singing shadowlands to the top rafters……i mean, fuck. my foot slipped and now i am seriously in trouble.
of course it would be the last chorus of the last song.i gave an exclusive interview to the NME the day before i left. we talked about what happened at the show/ about xfm/ and my really fucked up weirdo hair color. youll see it soon. also you can see the photos on-line today. theres even a movie in there i think.
i miss it already and my guitars are looking at me funny. im sorry this happened and thank you nice people for all the kind words.

RYAN ADAMS WRIST SURGERY 'SUCCESSFUL'

„Ryan is out of surgery and in the recovery room. The doctor said the operation went well. They are releasing him to girlfriend Parker (Posey)'s care. He’s got a big cast on his arm.“Speaking previously to NME.COM, the singer explained his injuries. He said: „I heard the noise but I didn’t feel the pain. The sound of my wrist breaking off my arm was really loud. It popped. People heard it. I think you could hear the break. I remember thinking ‘OK, my neck is fine’, then making sure my back was OK. Then people came to help me. Then I looked at my arm and went ‘Oh shit!’ To begin with I thought it was just swollen but after a first glance I knew exactly what had happened. I was thinking ‘This is it, it’s fucked’.“
The star was rushed to the Royal Liverpool Hospital for treatment. He was kept in overnight and then made a trip to London to see a specialist on January 23 where the decision was made to fly back to New York to recover. The initial diagnosis is that it could take two months to set the bone, and Adams could lose up to 20 per cent of the mobility in his wrist.
Adams continued: „They said it’ll take at least six weeks or two months. That’s for the bones to take. They might have to wire it together with metal wires. The guess now is that I could lose up to 20 per cent of the mobility in my wrist. That’s the percentage I won’t be able to bend it any more. My fingers and hand will be fine but I’ll have to re-train my wrist. We’ll see about guitar but it might make me a great piano player! I have a feeling I’ll be able to pull through. It’s all about making sure I can get my wrist about a guitar.“
The star’s next single is ’This Is It’, released on March 23.

Ich hoffe es stört niemanden, wenn ich mit solchen Fragen in den Thread reinschneie, aber hier werde ich wohl am ehesten Erfolg haben. Ich suche 48 hours und Suicide Handbook, habe leider nur eine sehr lahme Verbindung und komme selber nicht an die Alben ran. Wenn also hier jemand diese Alben auf der Platte schlummern haben sollte oder noch andere Adams-Raritäten, so kann er mir ja mal ein angebot machen, hätte die beiden sehr gern als Audiofiles gebrannt.

Dass auf der „Demolition“ Stücke von diesen beiden ominösen Alben sind, wirst du ja schon wissen…Deine Suche dürfte also ähnlichen Erfolg haben wie die nach dem Heiligen Gral, oder die nach dem Schatz von Oak Island :rolleyes:
