j.w.Wellers Gitarren sind anscheinend nicht in der Versteigerung, lediglich ein Marshall Top-Teil. Von Foxton sind immerhin einige Bässe im Angebot.
Order Dir doch mal einen von Wellers Vox AC-30!

(looking into the possibility that TSC played at the Stadthalle Offenbach…and does anyone have a Musikexpress archive account?)It seems that Amazon is not selling the coloured vinyl, which is according to Den exclusive to the website and limited to 2000 copies.
Musikexpress: I have the issues from the 80ies at home, what are you looking for?

Thanks for the clarification on the colored vinyl for About the Young Idea. I wasn’t aware it was limited to 2000 copies, as well as being exclusive to the website. Good information to know, now if I just had more money for all the things that I’ve come across that I really want. :)As far as the Musikexpress issues….I hope these specific dates are correct:
December 2, 1983 – A review of the concert at Trinity in Hamburg. Any pictures in the original paper?
Oktober 2, 1984 – An interview with Weller…any indication of a tour or concert in the original paper?
December 2, 1984 – There appears to be a concert review for a Style Council gig, but I can’t tell where and what date it was.
December 2, 1985 – Same as above….another concert review, but I can’t tell where and what date it was for.Keith

Hi Keith,
Issue #10, October 1984, pp. 22-23: Not really an interview, just a few quotes mixed with an text by Karin Aderhold. Nothing about a tour or concert. Pic with Paul on a bicycle.
Issue #12, December 1984, p. 46: Concert review of The Style Council playing the Hippodrome in Bristol, written by Gitti Gülden. No exact date given. One picture. Support: Tracie
Issue #12, December 1985, p. 53: Concert review of The Style Council playing the Musikhalle in Hamburg, written by Klaus von Seckendorff. No exact date given. One picture.
Issue #12, December 1983: This issue I’m unfortunately missing. My be I can find in the cellar, but that will take some time.Cheers

"I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered." - George Best --- Dienstags und donnerstags, ab 20 Uhr, samstags ab 20.30 Uhr: Radio StoneFMHi Martin,
No need to dig out the December 1983 issue. It really won’t specify anything new that isn’t already known as far as dates or venues.
The gig at the Hippodrome in Bristol was on 1984 Oktober 7. I’ve seen a couple of ticket scans from this gig and have a backstage pass from it, but I’ve only seen one come up for sale in my years of collecting TSC stubs.
The gig at the (Laeiszhalle) Musikhalle was on 1985 Oktober 10. I’ve only seen one ticket scan from this gig, and never one for sale.Danke!
Keith--
Heute angekommen. Sieht gut aus.

"I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered." - George Best --- Dienstags und donnerstags, ab 20 Uhr, samstags ab 20.30 Uhr: Radio StoneFMRed Wedge reloaded. Und noch mehr auf verlorenem Posten. Das ist doch maximal preaching to the converted.
