Kam die Dragonfly-12″ eigentlich auch in den USA raus? Oder kann das sein, dass dieses Release speziell für den US-Markt gemacht ist und da dann Tracks von den UK-Flipsides rausgehauen werden, weil sie „für die USA“ noch unveröffentlicht sind?

Ich bin mir nicht hundertprozentig sicher, glaube aber gelesen zu haben, dass die Vinyl EP nur über Wellers Homepage und einige wenige UK-Distributoren zu haben war.

start!Weller will bring to a close a momentous year by releasing the ‚Dragonfly EP‘ on December 17th.
Available on a limited edition run of 3000 vinyl copies, the EP will feature specially commissioned artwork by one of Britain’s greatest ever artists – Sir Peter Blake. This is first time the pair have collaborated since Stanley Road in 1995.
An absolute must for all Paul Weller and vinyl fans! Island Records release a strictly limited numbered edition of the Dragonfly EP. (Tracks also available digitally).
Not only is it super-limited but the beautiful artwork has been specially commissioned by none other than one of Britain’s greatest artists Sir Peter Blake; the first time he has collaborated with Weller since he designed the iconic Stanley Road album sleeve in 1995.
The EP’s title track “Dragonfly” is taken from Paul’s No. 1 album Sonik Kicks and rounds off the album’s campaign with aplomb.

Weller Up For NME Award
The nominations for this year’s NME Awards have just been revealed and Weller is amongst the artists to have got the nod.
He’s up for the Best Solo Artist award against Jake Bugg and good friend’s Noel Gallagher and Miles Kane.

Paul is proud to announce a headline show at The Royal Albert Hall on Monday 25th March.
The night is part of a series of gigs curated by Noel Gallagher in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. Support on the night comes from the up-and-coming Palma Violets.
On being asked to headline Paul said: “I’m looking forward to getting on stage for the final night of Teenage Cancer Trust at Royal Albert Hall. I’ve always supported the charity and have seen first-hand how hard they work and what a huge difference it makes to the kids. When Noel asked me to headline I didn’t hesitate.“

Known for their raucous live shows support on the night will come from the hotly-tipped London four-piece; Palma Violets.
