Und was meinst Du zu „Ming“? Sind die Arrangements so amateurhaft? Murray ist bei mir noch mehr Projekt, hab zwar schon fast ein Dutzend CDs, aber das ist bei ihm ja noch gar nichts… und die Oktette hab ich noch kaum angespielt.

Die Jeremy Days gehören zu den wenigen Künstlern, die auf der Bühne stets andere Versionen als die Studiofassungen angeboten haben, zum Teil mit erheblichen Arrangement-Veränderungen. Das hat die Konzerte zu echten Überraschungen gemacht und wurde auch auf diesem Album dokumentiert. Außerdem hat die Band einen ausgezeichneten Live-Chor – die singen so toll zusammen, das halt ich für einen absoluten Asset live. Spontan fallen mir nur die Eagles ein, die da besser sind. Das macht diese Live-LP zum Muss für jeden, der die Band an sich gut findet.
dr.music2. Ist doch der Gitarrist vom Grönemeyer, oder?
Da weißt Du mehr als ich. Auf jeden Fall ist Hansonis aus Köln und die Platte sehr gitarrig. War damals, 2004, eine Empfehlung von Elke H., die öffentlich vorwiegend Bücher anpreist, aber im kleinen Kreis auch gern über Musik redet. Die hatte Hansonis bei einem Clubgig in Köln gesehen und war hin und weg, wenn ich mich recht erinnere.
