@mozza: Ich habe aktuell Tumbleweed Connection, Honky Château, Captain Fantastic und Blue Moves. Mir fehlen vor allem Don’t Shoot Me und Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Evtl. würde ich mir noch die ersten beiden Alben, Caribou, Rock of the Westies und Here and There zulegen.

Das Debüt Empty Sky braucht man wirklich nicht so unbedingt.
Du bist – wie es mir scheint – kein Elton-Fan, dann braucht man Blue Moves eigentlich auch nicht, dafür aber folgende:
Too Low For Zero und wieso hast du keine der „späten“ Alben?
Ich würde dir auf jeden Fall Songs From The West Coast, The Captain And The Kid und The Union empfehlen.

Nicht unbedingt Here & There.. Stattdessen Live In Australia, das ist sein bestes Live-Album!

Blue Moves gehört nicht zu meinen Faves von Elton. Da gibt es zig Alben von ihm, die ich höher einstufen würde. Dennoch sind natürlich herausragende Tracks drauf, vor allem „Tonight“ und der Hit „Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word“.
Rock Of The Westies braucht man als Elton John – Gelegenheitshörer auch nicht so wirklich.
