Ich hatte die Box vor einiger Zeit direkt über Joni’s Onlinestore vorbestellt. Das hat alles gut geklappt, auch die Lieferung über FedEx. Die Box ist Made in U.S.A., was mich freut, da es mit der EU-Version der letzten Box (die mit den Studioalben) einige Probleme gab. Reingehört habe ich allerdings noch nicht, aktuell drehen sich die Neuerscheinungen von Big Thief und Hurray For The Riff Raff (die ist gestern noch eingetroffen) auf dem Plattenteller und die kleine Grateful Dead Fillmore West Box habe ich gestern Abend auch noch angefangen …

Hatte gehofft den Kauf im UK irgendwie zu vermeiden wegen Zoll etc. Aber es scheint ja wirklich keine andere Quelle dafür zu geben. Sehr schöne und großartig gepresste 80er Jubiläums Serie von Blue Note. Bei der 75er Serie hoffe ich, das die von dir erworbenen Alben die europäische Pressung ist. Die amerikanische kannst du eigentlich in die Tonne kloppen.

Der Klang der Platten aus der 80er Jubiläums Serie ist wirklich super. Das entschädigt voll und ganz für die etwas labbrigen Hüllen.
