Die CD hatte ich mir zugelegt, weil ich meinte, auf die Musik nicht verzichten zu können. Dann ergab sich die Möglichkeit, die LP zu bekommen…
Zu der JAZZ QUINTET freue ich mich allerdings mehr, weil die einfach seltener ist. Und ich keine CD als „Ersatz“ im Regal habe. Eher sicher nicht so „wichtig“ wie Ronnie Ball, aber manchmal ist das ja nicht rational zu messen. Ich glaube, es ist auch so ziemlich die erste reguläre Platte mit NHOP, damals 16 Jahre alt. So kann man sich das vor sich selbst rechtfertigen …--
Kann ich nachvollziehen, ja! Ich besitze die „Jazz Quintet ’60“ leider nicht. Anscheinend gab’s aus Japan sowohl einen LP wie einen CD Reissue – hab ich aber verpasst.

Ebenso bei Universal vor 4(?) Jahren. Die waren dann immer noch recht lange erhältlich.
