Matsuli Music: The second link is to what is essentially an accompaniment to our recent One Night in Pelican release. Entitled “Back at Club Pelican” this collects rare mid-seventies fusion and funk from the likes of The Movers, Mac Mathunjwa, Phillip Malela, The Special Sounds and others.

Den Link wollte ich auch noch posten, bin dann irgendwie drüber hinweg gekommen.
Als Warm-Up für die gemeinsame Vocaljazz-Sendung gibt es kommenden Samstag 22.4. bei StoneFM um 20:30 mal wieder eine Folge meiner Sendreihe „Slow Drive“, dieses Mal mit Musik des Keyboarders (Klavier, Orgel, Mbira), Toningenieurs und Produzenten Pops Mohamed. Auch mit dabei seine treuster Mitstreiter Sipho Gumede am Bass und Basil Coetzee am Tenorsaxophon und an der Flöte, zudem die Saxophonisten Morris Golberg, Robbie Jansen und McCoy Mrubata, die Drummer Peter Morake und Gilbert Mathews und einige weitere.
