Wieder einmal das grossartige Klavierkonzert Nr. 24 c-Moll KV 491 – immer wieder schön, das Konzert neu zu entdecken! Buchbinder höre ich gerade zum ersten Mal überhaupt – und was ich höre gefällt.

Das Ding ist mir als Werk wohl wesentlich naher als „Die Jahreszeiten“ (die ich von Harnoncourt – mit Kühmeier, Güra und Gerhaher – auch noch da habe). Gefällt mir bisher (erster Theil endet gleich) ziemlich gut. Die Karajan Live-Aufnahme von 1965 muss ich dann wohl auch wieder anhören.

Janine Jansen – Prokofiev

Zu hören ist erst das zweite Violinkonzert g-Moll Op. 63 mit dem London Philharmonic Orchestra unter Vladimir Jurowski, gefolgt von der Sonate für zwei Violinen C-Dur Op. 56 mit Boris Brovtsyn sowie der ersten Sonate für Violine und Klavier f-Moll Op. 80 mit Itamar Golan. Alles Werke, mit denen ich bisher alles andere als vertraut bin.

Die Steber-CD hat mich schwer beeindruckt, lief gleich zweimal. Was für eine Stimme, was für eine Klarheit! Dass bei Kesting der Name von Lisa della Casa fällt, erstaunt da nicht weiter. Muss mich wohl mal etwas schlaumachen, was es von ihr an Aufnahmen gibt … an der Met scheint sie von Rudolf Bing ja ziemlich bösartig behandelt worden zu sein, wenn das auch nur halbweg so übel war, wie Kesting es beschreibt … aber ein paar Hinweise auf Aufnahmen gibt er auch, die muss ich mal in Ruhe durchgehen und schauen, was man davon allenfalls noch kriegen kann.

Die Jansen-CD fand ich auch sehr gut. Allerdings sind diese russischen Sachen (auch Schostakowitsch, dessen Werk ich aber noch wenig gut kenne) für mich noch ziemliches Neuland. Ich habe zwar massenhaft Aufnahmen russischer Geiger gehört, aber das russischer Repertoire ist mir nichtsdestotrotz noch ziemlich fremd. Dies nicht als Werturteil, die Faszination ist auf jeden Fall da (auch oder gerade bei den Klavierkonzerten und den Klaviertrios Rachmaninoffs, den Violinkonzerten Schostakowitschs) … aber ich brauche da noch etwas Zeit, um mir mehr anzuhören, die Dinge, die ich schon habe, öfter anzuhören, ich habe das bisher einfach noch nie vertieft.
