Never. Phil Collins hat solo definitiv bessere Songs zu bieten. „IT“ enthält schreckliche Stücke und auch der Sound klingt heute angestaubt. 1a Pop haben Tears for Fears und Talk Talk in den 80ern geschrieben.

Ich hab ein klein wenig Frieden mit dem Album geschlossen. Habe versucht, es mal unabhängig vom Gesamtwerk zu hören (was mir schwerfiel) aber immerhin eine Verbesserung um einen ganzen Stern brachte.

„Throwing It All Away“ könnte bei dir vielleicht noch zulegen, und auch „In Too Deep“, aber auch „Tonight, Tonight, Tonight“.

Diazapam, that's Valium, Temazepam, Lithium, HRT, ECTSchauderhafte Platte, sie hätten sich in „Collins, Banks, & Rutherford Band“ umbenennen sollen. Das wäre ehrlicher gewesen als diese Massenanbiederung ihrer gesamten „Pop Phase“.

Einige starke Tracks, aber leider hat Phil Collins zum großen Teil die Kontrolle übernommen, die drei schlechtesten Songs wären auf seinen Soloalben besser aufgehoben. Das Instrumental ist eine Frechheit.

l'enfer c'est les autres...Teilweise schockierend niedrige Bewertungen hier!
Vor allem „Throwing It All Away“ kommt viel zu schlecht weg.
Ich muss meine Wertung aber auch noch mal anpassen, sie ist nämlich ebenfalls zu niedrig ausgefallen.

Insgesamt habe ich meinen Frieden mit der Platte gemacht. IT ist ein netter Popsong und The Brazilian ist doch recht einfallslos, wenn man Instrumentals vom Schlage Los Endos, Hairless Heart oder In That Quiet Earth dagegen hält.
