Habe keinen Best of-Rory Gallagher-Thread gefunden. Ich habe mal die 11 Studioalben zur Auswahl genommen. Dort sind insgesamt 106 Tracks enthalten. Ich habe es bis auf eine Top 50 gebracht, da Rory Gallagher zu meinen absoluten Favoriten gehört und auch der Track auf Platz 50 noch geschätzt ist.

……Sehe ich erst jetzt gerade. Gibt es zum Rory tatsächlich noch keine Umfrage bzgl. seiner besten Tracks ? Dann muss man das ändern, da wäre ich dann mal wieder dabei, da auch für mich Rory einer meiner absoluten Favs darstellt und als Gitarrist gehört er sowieso zu den absoluten Top5 ever.
Und übrigens pipe-bowl, auch bei mir würde „A Million Miles Away“ unumstößlich auf dem Thron stehen, allerdings in der Liveversion des Albums „Irish Tour“. Ein Song für die Ewigkeit

Blue, Blue, Blue over you@mr-blue: Rory Gallagher hat im Umfragethread, den @ediski eröffnet hat, aktuell 6 Stimmen für eine Umfrage. Deine ist noch nicht dabei. Ab 7 Stimmen wird die Umfrage mit eingeplant. Hau rein. Da das dort aber wohl noch ein paar Monate dauern wird und ich letztens sehr viel Rory Gallagher gehört habe im Zuge der Veröffentlichung von „Check Shirt Wizard“, hatte ich diesen Thread eröffnet.
Zu „A million miles away“: Ich hatte für mein Ranking nur die Studioalben in Betracht gezogen. Richtig ist, dass die Version von der „Irish Tour“ nochmal einen draufsetzt. Ich befürchte, wenn wir bei Rory eine Umfrage zu den Tracks machen, dann wird der Song in verschiedenen Versionen gelistet und somit wird der Song in der Endabrechnung mehrfach auftauchen, was wahrscheinlich eine bessere Platzierung verhindert.
