„Dawn of the Dead“ von Zack Snyder (***1/2)
Mäßig, solange er noch vor allem Horrorfilm ist und seine Vorlage raushängen lässt. Später dann aber sehr gut als Actionfilm.

Sean Anders – Sex Drive 5/10
Unterhaltsam, hat allerdings nicht die Klasse der Apatow Produktionen.

kids-in-mind.com warnt Eltern vor folgenden Inhalten:
„A young man and a young woman have sex, and we see her thrusting wildly on him in bed (we see her bare back and his bare chest): they moan, and she then slaps him in the face several times. A man follows a young man into a public restroom, the young man sits in a stall, reaches for toilet paper and feels the man’s penis (we see a glimpse of flesh tone) — the man in the next door stall apparently placed his penis through a hole and under the toilet paper holder; we see his bare shoulders and back and the young man panics and runs out of the bathroom zipping up his pants. A bare-chested young man lies in bed wearing only boxer shorts and a woman wearing bra and panties straddles him; she puts him in handcuffs, she performs oral sex on him (we see her head moving rhythmically), then stands over him and it is suggested that she defecates on him (we do not see this). Several young women take off their dance costumes off-stage and we see bare breasts and abdomens and a young man onstage watches and ends up with an erection (we see a large bulge in his pants). Two young Amish women open their dresses to reveal their bare breasts and abdomens during a concert. An elderly man wearing shorts sits on a chair with his legs apart and his testicles are clearly visible. A nude man handcuffed to a metal headboard runs out of a trailer home and into a cornfield (we see his bare back, legs and buttocks). A young woman wearing a short skirt climbs on a rope ladder and her skirt flips up and reveals her thong underwear and her bare buttocks. Several young women wearing skimpy outfits dance on a stage. Many young women are shown wearing low-cut tops that reveal deep cleavage and bare abdomens (we see a belly button piercing) in several scenes. We see a young man in jockey shorts and a T-shirt. We see a picture of a young woman in a bikini and we see a picture of a young man bare-chested. A young man lies in bed, we see the covers lift up at his crotch, he lifts the covers and says a young woman’s name, a female hand touches his mouth and the covers move rhythmically (implying oral sex); the young man wakes up (it was apparently a dream), removes his underwear and tosses them across the room (we hear them splat on the floor suggesting that they are wet from semen). A young man and a young woman kiss in bed (he is wearing a shirt partially unbuttoned and boxer shorts and she is wearing skimpy panties and a tank T-shirt): he stops her and they talk, then he tells her „just take off your top,“ she lies down and he prepares to lie on top of her and it is implied that they have sex. A young man and a young woman lying on a sofa covered to the shoulders with a blanket kiss and we are told that they have sex. A young man and a young woman kiss, she takes off her top (we see her bare back), she tells him to take off his clothes, they kiss, and he stops her (please see the Violence/Gore category for more details); we see the young man later with no clothes, standing on the side of the road (his bare buttocks, back and legs are visible). Two young Amish women kiss passionately at a party. A young woman kisses a young man’s neck, puts his finger in her mouth and sucks on it suggestively. A young man and a young woman dance and kiss. A young man and a young woman kiss in a few scenes. We see a poster of two women kissing passionately. A young man leans in to kiss a young woman and she pulls away. A young man wearing a life-size donut costume walks through a shopping mall and another young man sticks a rubber penis and testicles on the front of the costume (he is not aware and walks through the mall causing people to point and look away). A young man accidentally flings a condom that sails across a room and sticks to the hair of his stepmother. A young man thrusts his hips toward a hanging punching bag and kisses it passionately while his stepmother comes into the room. A young man buys condoms in a drug store and a video of the event is shown on a website (we hear that many people have seen it). A 14-year-old boy says, „Smell my fingers“ to his older brother; he does and asks, „Are you sure you got the right hole?“ A young woman tries to talk a young man out of having sex with a woman he doesn’t know, and she then offers to have sex with him and he leaves. A young man gives another young man a hard time about being a virgin and not having a girlfriend and says, „That’s how you get gay.“ A young man says he was raped in a prison cell and then says he wasn’t but that two other guys were. A young man accuses another young man of masturbating in bed. A young man calls out to a young woman „I’m uncircumcised.“ A teenage girl talks about having had sex with her boyfriend and now she is pregnant. We hear about a period of time that Amish people can live the life of the non-Amish and then must return to the Amish community and ways. A young man tells his family that he is gay. A young woman wearing a low-cut top and short skirt (cleavage and bare legs) leans into a young man’s car and flirts with him. A young man and a young woman IM each other flirtatiously and she offers to have sex with him if he will drive to see her. Two young men ask young women numerous sexually suggestive questions in several scenes. Two young women fight (they pull each other’s hair and shove each other) with a love song playing in the background and several young people watch. A young woman urinates in a car radiator (we see her straddling the radiator), a car passes by and two boys look at her and photograph her (we see the photo with a black box covering her genitals). A woman in a prison cell with many others sits on a toilet with her pants down (her bare knees are visible) and she reaches out to give a young woman a hug.“

Yay! Das ist der Connaisseur-haft deskriptive Ansatz, den ich bei hiesigen Filmkritiken vermisse. Ich befürchte, der Rest des Tages wird für die Seite drauf gehen (den Film selber fand ich auch ganz nett).

Sagt der Name ja schon „Movie ratings that actually work“. Am wichtigsten finde ich die herausgefilterte „message“ eines Films, immer ganz unten. Bei The Dark Knight zB.
