Ich weiß nicht, ob ich mit „At Antibes“ zu harsch ins Gericht gegangen bin, da muss ich nochmal nachhören. Aber „Tijuana Moods“ ist zweifellos das beste Album von Mingus, das ich bisher gehört habe. Kompakt, auf den Punkt und trotzdem verspielt und weit ausschreitend.
