talkinghead204 – Judie Tzuke – I Am the Phoenix Ich glaube nicht, dass diese Künstlerin heute noch einem größeren Personenkreis bekannt ist. Ich habe diese Scheibe auch im Schrank, aber bestimmt 20 Jahre nicht mehr gehört. Deine Nominierung nehme ich zum Anlass, das bald zu ändern!

So weit ich mich erinnere, hat so etwas ähnliches auch schon mal jemand im Musikalischen Tagebuch geschrieben. In den Listen taucht das Album trotzdem nicht auf, wenn ich es nicht übersehen habe.

Nein, leider nicht. Im damals großen Feld der New Wave of British Heavy Metal (die Band tourte seinerzeit im Vorprogramm von Acts wie Gillan, Triumph, Praying Mantis oder der Michael Schenker Group) blieben sie letztlich nahezu unbeachtet und ihnen war nur eine kurze und unspektakuläre Karriere beschieden. Aus meiner Sicht hätte die Band mehr verdient gehabt.
