„Dear Friends in Germany and Spain,

I was supposed to get on a jet plane today, and fly to your lands to sing my songs.

I am very very sorry that I couldn’t do this! I have a terrible cold and have lost my voice, so I had to cancel my shows this week…

The shows in Germany are being rescheduled for early November, so I will keep you posted on that… and I hope to see you then.

Barcelona: I have always wanted to visit you, and promise that I will in the near future.

I hope you all understand, this is the first time I have had to cancel shows because of my health….. I wish I never got sick!

Be well, and I promise to see you down the road.

For now, I will be tucked in bed and drinking plenty of tea, here in California.
