„A Fickle Sonance“ war eines meiner ersten 20 oder 30 Jazz-Alben. Mag ich immer noch sehr.Bei mir war die RVG-CD 1999 die erste Begegnung … gekauft im Urlaub in Warschau. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass ich damals auch einen Discman mithatte und eine dieser hässlichen Plastic-„Mappen“ mit Platz für 20 oder 30 CDs). Aufnahmen von Paul Quinichette und Lester Young (die grosse Verve-Box) kaufte ich auch während desselben Urlaubs, im selben Laden, von dem ich nicht weiss, welcher es war (2016 war ich nochmal in Warschau und klapperte damals auf der Suche nach polnischem Jazz die Läden systematisch ab, aber ich hatte bei keinem eine Erinnerung, dass ich dort schon mal drin war …

Ich glaub er geht da von „Blue Moon“ direkt in sowas wie „Frenesi“ rüber … kam ich nicht drauf, als ich die Sendung vorbereitete (Riff erkannt, aber Name nicht abrufbar). Und gerade folgte noch ein Zitat, aber da komm ich grad auch nicht drauf.
