Jedenfalls was den „Wumms“ angeht (ansonsten wären noch die Ellington-Basser zu nennen, allen voran Jimmie Blanton und Oscar Pettiford, aber davor – in der Foster-Generation – auch Wellman Braud, den wir heute Abend auch schon hörten).
