IrrlichtUm was handelt es sich denn bei „Into the silence“?

Ein traumhaftes Jazzalbum des israelischen Trompeters, den ich im August hier in Augsburg live sehen konnte. Es war nicht nur für mich eines der Highlights der Jazzsommer der letzten Jahre.

War aber von dem Album schon vorher angetan, das Konzert hat mein Verlangen nach dem Album natürlich unterstützt. Am Anfang hab ich mit den etwas weniger eingängigen Titeln (ab Nr.2) etwas gefremdelt, dafür gab’s danach kein Halten mehr. Es ist auch nicht allein Cohen und dessen einnehmender Ton (offensichtliche Vergleich spare ich mir), sondern das das Ensemble fügt sich einem Zusammenspiel, das zumindest mich nichts vermissen läßt und stark nachhallt. Erinnert an große Quartett-Ensembles der Vergangenheit. Let the music speak:

Gipetto@harry-rag Schöne Liste mit erfreulichen Platzierungen – aber wo ist denn Post Pop Depression abgeblieben? Immerhin die erste gute Iggy-Platte seit mehr als 30 Jahren. Für mich ein absolutes Jahreshighlight! PS: Beim Blättern innerhalb des Fadens sehe ich, dass dieses Album wirklich niemand auf dem Schirm zu haben scheint?! Unverständlich…

Da ich Iggy wie auch Josh Homme sehr schätze, ist das tatsächlich eine gute Frage, auf die es eine simple Antwort gibt: Andere Alben haben mich immer mehr interessiert, so dass ich den Kauf verschob. Ähnlich das Radiohead-Album. Die werde ich dann 2017 nachkaufen. ;)

Es geht auch einfacher, dazu muss man allerdings so einen Kram hören wie ich. In der Suche „Von Wegen Lisbeth“ oder „Blaue Blume“ eingeben und „mehr durchsuchen“ anklicken und meine letzte Liste ist (zumindest bei mir) das erste Suchergebnis. Auf solche Umwege könnte man allerdings verzichten, wenn endlich die Suche innerhalb eines Threads und in Kombination mit Username möglich wäre @marcus-neuss et al.

Ich schon, allerdings weiter unten, als Suchergebnis Nummer 19 (sie wurde halt im Country Thread häufger erwähnt). Würde aber auch bedeuten, dass du seit Februar keine aktuelle Liste gepostet hast. Kann das sein? @clau
