Ich war ein klein wenig enttäuscht, es fehlt ein wenig das Ausufernde, Polyphonic Spree-artige des Vorgängers. Aber wenn ich Ruhe habe werd ich sie mir noch mal anhören.

TheMagneticFieldIch war ein klein wenig enttäuscht, es fehlt ein wenig das Ausufernde, Polyphonic Spree-artige des Vorgängers. Aber wenn ich Ruhe habe werd ich sie mir noch mal anhören.
Ja, geht etwas gezügelter zu, was dem Flow des Albums aber eher zugute kommt. Dafür fehlt ein Hit wie „Home“ und insgesamt mag „Up From Below“ hier und da die stärkeren Einzelsongs haben. Im Schnitt sehe ich daher beide auf Augenhöhe.

Danke für Eure Einschätzungen. Wenn es nicht so ausufernd ist wie „Up From Below“, würde mich das nicht im Geringsten stören. Das Album hat wunderbare Momente, ist aber über die Spielzeit von knapp 60 Minuten mitunter auch sehr anstrengend.

Keine Ahnung was da noch kommt. Ich beschäftige mich mit Neuerscheinungen eigentlich immer erst wenn sie da sind. Das neue Kim Lenz Album kommt erst im nächsten Jahr, ebenso dass der Rhythm Shakers.
Eine echte Empfehlung sind Daddy Long Legs auf Norton.
