Software ist die ultimative Bürokratie.Die Sendung ist inspiriert durch das Buch „The Heart Of Rock And Soul – The 1001 Greatest Singles Ever Made“ des amerikanischen Musikjournalisten und Kritikers Dave Marsh.
Die Liste der Songs aus dem Buch ist online verfügbar, und ihre Reihenfolge stellt kein Ranking dar, sondern – so Dave Marsh – „[is] more like a spiral, beginning at the center … and working its way to the fringes“.
Die Zahl in eckigen Klammern, die ich in nach der Jahreszahl jedes Track angebe, ist übrigens die laufende Nummer aus der Liste.
