Ich hab ja eine Riesenschwäche für das ganze Album – gut möglich, dass er da meistgehörte Album von The Band ist (passt immer, passt v.a. super, wenn man unterwegs ist).

Chess Single 1626 (CD: Johnny B. Goode – His Complete ‘50s Chess Recordings, 4 CD, Hip-O-Select, 2007)
Die Box habe ich im Herbst endlich zu einem akzeptablen Preis gefunden und aus den USA bestellt … kam zum Glück heil an, lag dann aber bis zur traurigen Nachricht neulich auf dem Stapel. Phantastische Sache, an die beiden mit den späteren Aufnahmen muss ich auch demnächst wieder einmal ran!
