Meine nächste Sendung auf Radio Stone FM: 25.04.2024, 21:00 Uhr: My Mixtape #142 - 2002 Schwache Menschen rächen, starke Menschen vergeben, intelligente Menschen ignorieren - Albert EinsteinAntibalas spielen ja schon recht nah am Original. Hier funktioniert das noch ziemlich gut, das letzte Album von 2012 fand ich aber ziemlich enttäuschend.

Ursprünglich hat er ja Trompete gespielt, hat dann aber zum Sax gewechselt, weil das erotischer ist. Hier spielt er auch noch Piano und Orgel.
Live In Amsterdam ist tatsächlich zunächst in den Niederlande, Frankreich und den USA als DoLP erschienen (oberes Artwork). In Nigeria dann 1986 als einfache LP (unteres Artwork), dort fehlt der Track M.O.P:, der die gesamte 1. LP einnimmt.
