Hat and beard
Für mich ist „Mermaid Avenue“ die schönste Platte mit Wilco-Beteiligung. Lohnen sich Vol. 2 und 3 auch?
Finde die Mermaid Avenue Vol. I schon besser: mit „California Stars“, „Way over Yonder in the Minor Key“ und „One by One“ in meinen Ohren drei *****-Tracks.
Da kommt für mich auf der Mermaid Avenue Vol. II eigentlich nur „Aginst th‘ Law“ so richtig ran, obwohl mit „Feed of Man“, „Stetson Kennedy“, „Remember the Mountain Bed“, „Black Wind Blowing“ und „Someday Some Morning Sometime“ weitere wunderbare Tracks enthalten sind.
Mermaid Avenue Vol. I ****1/2, Mermaid Avenue Vol. II ****, die Mermaid Avenue Vol. III kenne ich noch zu wenig, um sie beurteilen zu können.
