Die Version von „Maiden Voyage“ stammt vom Hutcherson-Album „Happenings“, das wie „Oblique“ im Quartett-Fomat entstand, beide sind mit Hutcherson, Hancock und Joe Chambers, das erste mit Bob Cranshaw (der hier ganz hervorragend ist), … am Ende mag ich wohl – vermutlich entgegen der verbreiteten Meinung – „Happenings“ ein klein wenig lieber als „Oblique“ (das halt den „Kult“-Bonus von Al Stinson hat – für einmal ein „Kult“, dem ich nicht gänzlich abgeneigt bin).
