Dando, who has been touring with The MC5, told evandando.com: „After doing 42 shows, I decided to leave the tour, I need to finish writing the next Lemonheads record. The MC5 tour inspired me greatly, and I’m now ready to get back to my own music.
Since Lemonheads‘ last album ‚Car Button Cloth‘ in 1996, Dando has released one solo album, 2003’s ‚Baby I’m Bored‘.
