Da Du Jazz gerne magst, Alex: kennst Du Miles‘ Soundtrack zu Louis Malles Film „L’ascenseur pour l’echafaud“? Grossartig! In der Jazz in Paris Reihe von Universal/EmArcy gab’s fünf Volumes „Jazz & Cinéma“, von denen zumindest die ersten drei mit Barney Wilen, Art Blakey, Alain Goraguer, Daniel Humair, einer Jazz at the Philharmonic Gruppe und anderen sehr hörenswert sind.
Volumes 4 und 5 präsentieren dann eher altmodischere Musik, u.a. von Henri Crolla, Goraguer, oder Michel de Villers, und man kriegt (am Ende von Vol. 4) auch noch Martial Solals Piano-Trio Stück aus Orson Welles „Le procès“ zu hören.
