In seinem tollen Aufsatz im ECM-Band („Eine kulturelle Archäologie“). Keine Ahnung, ob er den Gedanken auch anderswo entwickelt hat, aber hier passt er, er bezieht ihn aber v.a. auf Bley bzw. auf Annette Peacock (und dann Marilyn Crispell, deren Peacock-Album wohl sowas wie die Vollendung dieses Konzepts sein dürfte).
