Statistik der 2. Vorrunde:
2504 Stimmen sind abgegeben worden in den 20. Gruppen. Davon gingen 1608 Stimmen an die 64 Tracks, die in die nächste Runde kamen und die restlichen 896 Stimmen gingen an die Tracks, die sich verabschiedet haben.
Zwischen 36 Teilnehmern (Gruppe 17) und 44 Teilnehmern (Gruppen 1 + 2) betrug die nach wie vor gute Beteiligung.
Nur in einer Gruppe musste wegen Stimmgleichheit gelost werden. In der 3. Gruppe gelangt „Sweet thing“ (13 Stimmen) per Losentscheid in die nächste Runde, während „Sue (Or in a season of crime)“ (Single-Version) bei ebenfalls 13 Stimmen ausschied. Insgesamt waren 13 Stimmen auch die geringste Stimmanzahl, die für das Weiterkommen reichte und zwar in 4 Fällen („Sweet thing“, „Song for Bob Dylan“, „Teenage wildlife“, „Sense of doubt“). Dem gegenüber war „Be my wife“ mit 17 Stimmen der Track, der mit der höchten Simmenzahl ausschied.
