Hammondbeat ist ein sehr interessantes Label in Portland, das urspünglich aus einer Fanseite zum James Taylor Quartet entstanden ist.
Dieses Label hat funky, groovy, orgel-gestützte Musik im Katalog, bei der „retro“ kein Schimpfwort ist. Mehrheitlich instrumental und immer ziemlich lässig.
