One new tune pays tribute to Jack White of the White Stripes for an eclectic gift he left with Coyne in Detroit during the Flaming Lips tour with Beck last fall — a large Jesus crucifix outlined with a color-changing fiberoptic cord.
„Jack White gave that thing to me at the beginning of the tour,“ remembers Coyne. „It’s cheesy, but it’s beautiful.“
