Ich habe das Album „Above“ damals wahrgenommen, aber es hat mich seinerzeit mitten in der Grunge-Hochzeit nicht überzeugt. Eventuell muss ich nochmal nachhören, obwohl ich mir heute kaum vorstellen kann, dass der Zugang einfacher wird als vor zwanzig Jahren. Ich schätzte aber auch den Vortrag von Layne Staley nicht besonders. Die Grunge-Supergroup waren für mich damals nicht Mad Season, sondern Temple of the Dog.
