„Dizzy Atmosphere“ … schwindlig kann einem hier wirklich werden! Ein einfaches Bassmotiv leitet das repetitive Thema ein. Die Rhythmusgruppe – wieder mit Clyde Hart am Piano – ist eigentlich eine, die ganz aus Swing-Musikern besteht, doch hinter Charlie Parker und Dizzy Gillespie legt vor allem Cozy Cole eine sehr boppige Performance hin. Slam Stewarts Solo – wie üblich gestrichen und eine Oktave darüber mitgesummt – sprengt dann etwas den Rahmen, auch der tolle shout chorus wirkt fast etwas antiquiert, aber die Aufnahme ist hervorragend, trotz ihrer stilistischen Ambivalenz!
