According to Acoustic Sounds, the new set is Mastered by Paul Blakemore from the original analog tapes.
Of course, the Analogue Productions Absolute Originals box is Mastered by Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman from the original analog tapes. That alone probably justifies the extra expense.
Auf jeden Fall erscheint die neue Box bei Universal in einem Pappschuber und die Fotos der LP’s sehen gut aus. Aber bis auf die obige Mini-Notiz habe ich noch nichts weiteres erfahren. Das könnte eine interessante Alternative zu der AP-Absolute Originals-Box sein.
