Embrace

New Album ‚EMBRACE‘, Refugees EP with Instant Download & February Scottish Tour

FIRST ALBUM RELEASE IN EIGHT YEARS – ‚EMBRACE‘ RELEASED ON 28TH APRIL

Embrace return in 2014, releasing their first album in eight years with their self-titled new album ‘Embrace’ released on 28th April through Cooking Vinyl.

With three #1 albums, six top ten singles, sold out arena shows and well over a million album sales behind them, Embrace were on the crest of a wave when they suddenly vanished without a trace. But now they are back with a fantastic new album conveying a rawer, darker sound whilst still keeping their signature anthems and huge choruses. Embrace are set to return with a bang. A big bang.

Danny: „The album feels like we’ve come full circle to the band we were before we even got signed, but the clock is ticking louder than it ever has before and everything feels more do or die now. All our original influences have floated back to the surface. I have to say that for my part, we’ve never felt more focussed or distilled. I think we’ve done it at last – we’ve finally made an album that’s better than the first one.“

The album is available to pre-order now from the band’s official store on four different physical formats, with the Super Deluxe Box Set including seven different pieces of exclusive merchandise that won’t be available anywhere else:

– Standard CD (signed)
– Deluxe Edition CD / DVD (signed)
– Gatefold White Double Vinyl LP (signed)
– Exclusive Super Deluxe Embrace Album Box Set

REFUGEES EP RELEASED ON 17TH FEBRUARY

The first release from the band’s new album will be the single ‘Refugees’ which will be released as part of a 4-track EP on 17th February, giving fans a taster of what lies ahead with three brand new songs not featured on the new album. The tracklisting for the EP is as follows:

1. Refugees
2. Chameleon
3. Decades
4. Bullets

Danny: „Richard brought this in as a near finished recording. It was one of the first songs we finished and it really set the bar for the rest of the album. ‚The snow on the screen / We’re going light speed tonight / Like Bonnie and Clyde except we don’t die tonight.‘ It’s an image from those sci-fi movies where the stars whizz by like snow on the screen. To say we have argued over this song would be an understatement. I guess you know you’ve got a good one when that happens because everyone gets really precious about it. But it was really important to us that all the other tracks are strong too. We wanted to go back to how we were at the beginning when we released EPs and every track was as good as the lead track. It feels just like those days, we’re all fired up and hungry for it because we’ve got it all to prove again.“

„Refugees“ kann man bei Pre-order der EP sofort downloaden

das Video dazu gibt’s schonmal hier

ob es so eine gute Idee war, Richard fast den ganzen Song singen zu lassen, weiss ich ja auch nicht, Danny kommt dann erst in der letzten Minute rein .. mal schauen ..
