Schlechte (?) Nachrichten über Divine Comedy: Kein Plattenvertrag mehr. Hier die Meldung von der offiziellen Homepage:
„As to the label situation reported in the Hot Press story, I can now say that, yes, the deal’s up. It’s all very amicable and Neil / TDC haven’t ruled out the idea of doing something with EMI at some point in the future. The contract has in fact been over since the end of last year. It didn’t seem important to announce it when there were no immediate plans following the band’s extensive autumn tour. The story emerged yesterday, when Neil won the Choice Prize, because EMI had explain why they weren’t handling Neil’s promotion. That’s why it came out now. Neil is working on variety of different projects this year and the next DC album is likely to be in 2008.“
