Da waren / sind doch die „Omnibus Editions“ des Labels wie z.B. http://www.amazon.de/Mask-Omnibus-Bauhaus/dp/B002HWRMNM/ref=sr_1_5?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1383146049&sr=1-5 ungleich interessanter.
Ich finde Beiträge und Links, bei denen man nicht erkennen kann, um was es sich dreht, ziemlich bescheiden. Man kann Links auch schön umbenennen, dann weiß jeder sofort auf was er da bei Interesse rumklickt.
Es geht also um das 5 Albums Box Set von Bauhaus, das im November erscheint. Ich werde es mir zulegen, obwohl ich die „Omnibus Edition“ von „Mask“ bereits besitze. Diese Box beinhaltet u.a. das Livealbum „This Is For When“, das man zumindest auf CD nur in dieser Box bekommt.
Das 5 Albums Box Set ist für den Bauhaus-Fan trotzdem interessant, da „The Sky’s Gone Out“ und „Burning From The Inside“ für diese Box zum ersten Mal remastert wurden. Zudem ist das 5. Album eine remasterte Single-Compilation.

In The Flat Field and Mask (and the relevant singles) use the masters created for the Omnibus Editions.
The Skys Gone Out and Burning From The Inside (plus associated singles) have been re-mastered by Tony Cousins at Metropolis Studios and sound fresher than a daisy and more deadly than nightshade. This is the ONLY digital remastering from the original studio analogue tapes since 1988 (excepting a few tracks on Crackle (1998) which have also been re-mastered).
