Classic sabbath sound, monolithic 9 minute track, begins with slow, ominous guitar riff, Ozzy deadly serious, „With God and Satan at my side, from darkness will come light“ – It’s heavy shit all right
The end of the beginning
Over 8 minutes, sinister opening riffs moves at a glacial pace (HULD!!), carrying echos of the song „Black Sabbath“. Tempo quickens, trippy groove as a reminder that Sabbath invented Stoner Rock as well as Heavy Metal.
Age of reason
Contrary to the „stripped down“ style, grandiose coda reminscent of the „Sabbath bloody Sabbath“ Era. Not one, but two killer riffs and a mid song freakout
