Ist halt schon irgendwie anders – Tanz im Ballsaal in den USA vs. Konzert in einer europäischen Halle. Mir sind die erwähnten Roulette-Aufnahmen (vollständig in der Mosaic-Box, einzeln habe ich sie gar nicht) sowie zuletzt das wirklich tolle Crescendo-Set wohl am liebsten. Für Verve gab es ja auch noch Live-Aufnahmen, Newport und London (das von woanders ist, nicht?), zudem aus Paris … aber die Atmosphäre ist halt schon anders. Gut möglich, dass ich das Crescendo-Set am Ende auch das beste Live-Dokument von NT-Basie (wichtige Einschränkung!) finde.
