Im Ernst: Larry Schneider hat wirklich einen tollen Ton – ist aber einer der Fälle, wo 20 „gleiche“ Steeplechase-CDs mich so ratlos machen, dass ich nicht weiss, welche man kaufen sollte … ich habe nur eine, ein Trio („Freedom Jazz Dance“ mit Steve LaSpina und Keith Copeland), die ist auch schwer in Ordnung. Auch als Solist mit der George Gruntz Concert Jazz Band war er schwer in Ordnung, beim einzigen Mal, als ich die Band live sehen konnte.
